On-chain casino protocol on Solana

The Challenge

An on-chain casino has two problems at once. Players need proof the house is not rigging outcomes, and the house needs capital deep enough to cover a whale win streak without going insolvent. Custodial platforms solve the second by holding player funds, which reintroduces the first. The Steady Teddys team needed both solved at the protocol level, with live games and a working liquidity program, on a launch window measured in weeks.

Our Approach

We escrowed every lamport in Solana program PDAs so the backend never holds or controls user funds, and committed RNG seeds on-chain before each round so settlement stays verifiable after the fact. The house bankroll is a dual-pool design. An Insurance Pool takes all house winnings and absorbs game variance, while a Liquidity Pool issues rLP receipt tokens that appreciate through a daily profit drip from the Insurance Pool. LPs get a smoothed, predictable yield instead of raw exposure to individual bets, with a 48-hour withdrawal queue that locks in the exit price on entry. One pool backs every game through a single settle_bet CPI, so adding a game is a register_game call rather than a new pool. We shipped Teddy Crash and Teddy Flip on that foundation, plus a pre-deposit vault, an off-chain points and referral engine, a weekly wager race leaderboard, and a 17-tier VIP program with instant rakeback. A timeout_round safety net lets anyone trigger on-chain refunds if the crank goes down for ten minutes.
